Freshly Hatched Spring DIY Projects

I love Springtime! It’s my favorite time of the year because everything is fresh and new. In keeping with that theme, let’s talk about some freshly hatched Spring DIY projects. These are Spring DIY decor ideas that you can easily incorporate into your home decor for the season. They’ll help your home feel fresh and inviting for Spring. Don’t leave until you check them out!

There’s no better way to welcome Spring flowers than with a Spring wallflowers sign. Just use a 2′ x 4′ foam core as the base. Get some faux flowers at Dollar Tree, and some wood letters at Michaels. Use hot glue to put it all together. What a way to dress up your mantel for the season!

Along with the Wallflowers sign, a collection of hand painted mini wood birdhouses would be lovely. You could also hang them from trees in your yard if you prefer. Either way, get some acrylic craft paints and have fun with this project!

Introduce more fresh Spring blooms into your decor by making a Spring table runner. This one uses Ranunculus, one of my personal favorites. You’ll need a collection of small glass vases, but you can acquire those very inexpensively at Dollar Tree.

Personally, I don’t think it would be Spring without a Spring wreath to dress up my front door. It also makes your home’s entrance so much more inviting! There are many ways to do a fresh Spring wreath, but this one starts with a foam wreath form. Wrap the form in a Spring fabric of your choice, then attach silk tulips with floral pins. Add a coordinating ribbon, and the final welcoming “hello”. It’s beautiful!

Add one last touch of Spring with succulents. They are perfection in these DIY copper planters. These planters start out as plain glass votive holders. They are painted white and copper foil is added to make a geometric design.
