Cinder blocks are an excellent medium for DIY projects around the home. They are inexpensive, easy to find, and work great in a number of different ways. But don’t just take my word for it–here are 13 recycled cinder block projects anyone can do!
1.With 24 cinder blocks, some mortar and lava rock, you’ve got a contemporary and functional fire pit for your backyard living space. Amazing!
2. Got a root cellar or food storage room, but no shelving in it? Fix that easily and inexpensively with cinder blocks!
3. For less than about $30, make a bench to kick back and enjoy those warm summer evenings. Add some cushions to make it comfortable.
