Mmm, the smells of Fall: pumpkin anything, crisp apples, dry leaves and woodsy scents, just to name a few. It’s no wonder we all want our homes to smell like these things for as long as possible! Today I have some fantastic ways to make your home smell like Fall. {And if you choose to use them 9 months of the year, I won’t tell}. Best of all, these are natural scents that aren’t harmful to you or your loved ones.
Put your stove to work for you. All you need is a saucepan of water and some natural ingredients that will scent your home while they simmer. Try things like cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, citrus slices, apple peels and bay leaves. Dried lavender and vanilla beans work wonderfully, too.
