Over at View From the Fridge, there’s an amazing pumpkin tree stump welcome sign that is perfect for the front porch or the hearth. {Sounds you like might need to make two!}. All you need is a wood slice, orange and white craft paints, a 1/2″ diameter wooden dowel, plus a stick and some leaves from your own backyard.
Here’s a fun project that is also extremely easy on your budget. This DIY $5 wreath from The Mommy Times is made from a grapevine wreath {watch for craft store sales and discount coupons to get one cheap}, a wooden letter, and fall leaf garland plus faux pinecones and pumpkins from your local dollar store. A little floral wire helps to hold the letter to the wreath, but it isn’t absolutely necessary.
Let Janie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom show you how easy it is to make these DIY fabric pumpkins. They’re perfect for a cute table centerpiece. Just get some cute fabrics, stuffing, hot glue and needle & thread. You’ll also need some twine to wrap around the pumpkins and some sticks and silk leaves for the tops. Don’t worry–though you need a needle and thread, the sewing is very minimal.
