Here is a tea light holder made from a green glass insulator and a rusty bed spring. The two together have a great industrial look that is really unique.
By simply wrapping an insulator with floral wire and adding a handle to hang it from, you can make a lovely garden lantern like the one shown here. The bottom of the insulator is filled with sand, and then a tea light is added.
This insulator was purchased at a thrift shop for $1. Turn it upside down into a metal stand and add an old key {painted black} tied on with rustic twine. It makes an awesome candle holder!
A vintage glass insulator is used to house the light bulb in an industrial pipe table lamp. This is a great DIY project!
