Are you one of those people who feel better sending less trash to our landfills? {We can all feel good about that!} Well, stick around for today’s post! I’ve got some great upcycles for you today. They’ll help you turn trash into treasure and reuse your old stuff in some pretty incredible ways.
1.Instead of cutting up your old credit cards, try this: turn them into some pretty amazing guitar picks with a Pickmaster.
2. Convert old picture slides into an awesome privacy screen for your window. Genius!
3. Don’t throw away old lightbulbs, turn them into some incredible creations, including oil lamps.
4. Pack your bagels and bagel sandwiches into an old spindle CD holder. Nothing will keep it together (and un-soggy!) better than that!
5. Make a cute serving tray from an old picture frame. It’s a quick and easy project!
6. Have you been wanting a pancake squirter to make fun pancake shapes for the kids? Don’t buy one. Just reuse an empty ketchup bottle!
7. Make amazing light fixtures with old bottles, cans, jars and tupperware. Just look at what you can do!
8. Reuse old egg cartons to start seedlings for your garden in early spring. It works fabulously!
9. Cut 1/2-inch strips out of your empty sour cream, cottage cheese, and yogurt containers. Use the strips for labeling your plants out in the garden.
10. Make an attractive luminaria for the patio with empty tin cans. Use a hammer and nail to pierce a design in the sides, then set a tea light inside and enjoy the show. {Be careful of sharp metal inside when placing the candle in the can!}
